Sierra is building a platform enabling companies to deliver better, more human customer experiences with AI. The company partners with industry leaders like SoftBank, Uber, Rivian, and Sutter Health, and is headquartered in San Francisco with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
As an Agent Strategist, you own the end-to-end journey of Sierra's AI agents for customers—from initial pilot through production deployment handling thousands of daily conversations. You operate at the intersection of product, technical implementation, and customer engagement, translating complex business problems into measurable AI solutions.
Key responsibilities include: owning the agent development lifecycle from scoping through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and continuous production iteration; serving as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise executives, understanding their success metrics and shaping AI strategy; partnering with customer teams on working sessions and troubleshooting; and directly influencing product direction by surfacing unmet needs from customer work.
Recent projects include building subscription-retention agents for telecom/media companies, commerce agents for device troubleshooting and personalization, redesigning conversation flows for regulated financial services interactions, and partnering on net-new agent capabilities with live customers as design partners.
You bring customer obsession, strong English and Korean communication skills, strategic problem-solving ability in ambiguous environments, technical aptitude (comfortable with APIs, data models, system architecture), and a track record of delivering complex, high-visibility projects. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production, founding or early-stage operator experience, and technical education (CS, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience combined with business acumen.
