Smartly.io, an AI-powered advertising technology company, is seeking an Agency Partner to lead strategic partnerships with key agencies across the UK. This role combines consultative selling, strategic collaboration, and cross-functional leadership to position Smartly as a preferred partner within the agency ecosystem.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for agency leadership, developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies to increase platform spend and adoption. Key responsibilities include identifying and closing new client opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements, and fostering advocacy programs that build understanding of Smartly's full suite of solutions (media, intelligence, and creative offerings). You'll collaborate with executive teams, operations, social teams, and activation specialists, while maintaining strong relationships with Direct Sales and Global Client Partner teams to maximize revenue.
Success is measured by agency growth, new revenue generation, increased platform adoption, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. You'll develop strong partnerships, provide clear examples of partnership success (such as co-developing custom solutions), and strengthen the overall relationship ecosystem.

The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the London office. The company offers equity options, competitive compensation, healthcare packages, mental health services, paid holidays, family leave, and the option to work abroad up to 30 days annually.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, consulting, or media sales with a track record in customer acquisition and growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to distill insights, incorporate feedback, and adapt strategies
- Strong understanding of the agency ecosystem with a solution-oriented mindset to address agency business challenges
- Strong business and financial acumen, including nuanced understanding of agency landscape, competitive dynamics, and growth drivers
- Collaborative approach with history of influencing cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
- Familiarity with digital advertising technologies, platforms, and performance measurement methodologies
- Ability to articulate strategic vision and demonstrate track record of driving growth through agencies
- Ability to work from London office 3 days per week as part of hybrid structure
