As Affiliates Manager at Xero, you will own the strategy and day-to-day management of the company's global affiliate channel across both the Xero and Melio brands. You'll manage publisher relationships end-to-end and shape campaigns designed to bring new customers to Xero's websites, optimizing toward lifetime value and first-time payers. Working across Impact and PartnerStack platforms, you'll manage a multi-million dollar channel and be accountable for measurable returns.
This role offers the opportunity to help build an affiliate channel that sets the standard for SaaS at a global, publicly listed company. You'll move the organization from doing acquisition well to doing it at scale, building tools and workflows—many powered by AI—that make growth repeatable. You'll collaborate with engineers and applied scientists to work through tracking, attribution, and incrementality, then translate those insights into plans that publishers, partners, and stakeholders support.
You'll join the affiliates team within Xero's performance marketing function, working alongside a fellow Affiliates Manager in Sydney who specializes in publisher relationships. The two of you will share channel ownership, with your measurement and technical expertise complementing their partner relationship skills. You'll collaborate with product, data science, engineering, brand, and external affiliate agencies to execute campaigns.
Initial focus areas include: getting hands-on with Impact (Xero) and PartnerStack (Melio) platforms and their tracking/reporting infrastructure; reviewing performance and attribution data across both programs and closing tracking gaps; growing and nurturing high-quality publisher partnerships across Australia, UK, and US markets; and shaping the channel roadmap, including AI-powered tools and automation to scale acquisition.
The role is based in Wellington, New Zealand (or elsewhere in Australia/New Zealand near an office), with hybrid flexibility mixing office time with remote work. Regular boost days facilitate in-person collaboration.

- Familiarity owning budgets and commercial targets; ability to translate data into clear insights demonstrating channel value
- Curiosity about AI and demonstrated ability to find, test, and roll out new tools to help the channel scale
