Nutanix is seeking an Advisory Solutions Architect – Cloud Native to drive customer adoption and success with Kubernetes, Cloud Native, and AI/ML solutions. This is a high-impact, pre-sales technical role where you will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprises modernizing their application platforms.
You will identify and match technology opportunities with customer business challenges, translating complex technical capabilities into business value. Key responsibilities include:
• Provide deep Kubernetes domain expertise and strategic guidance on Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) to influence customer decisions and drive satisfaction
• Engage with technical leadership and executive stakeholders to build relationships and progress large strategic opportunities
• Create and deliver advanced technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) tailored to customer needs
• Support pipeline generation through bootcamps, workshops, and hands-on labs to drive interest, cross-sell, and upsell
• Maintain expertise in NKP, AI/ML, and Cloud Native technologies while staying informed about competitive solutions
• Qualify leads in emerging Kubernetes technologies and new market segments
• Build and maintain relationships with Channel and Alliance Partners
• Conduct regular check-ins with existing customers to drive adoption, expansion, and renewals
• Contribute to go-to-market strategy through marketing initiatives including whitepapers, technical collateral, and success stories
• Develop enablement programs for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with marketing on seminars covering Kubernetes, Cloud Native application modernization, and DevOps best practices
Required qualifications: 6-9 years in customer-facing pre-sales or solution architecture roles focused on Kubernetes, Cloud Native, and AI/ML workloads. Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. Expert-level experience with at least two different Kubernetes platforms (e.g., OpenShift, public cloud Kubernetes). Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, cluster management, networking, storage, security, observability, and service mesh. Hands-on experience with containers (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, DevOps workflows, and open-source Cloud Native technologies. Strong knowledge of MLOps and deploying AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes. Ability to position NKP competitively. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail. Deep understanding of technical discovery, proposal processes, objection handling, and business case development.
