Atom is an AI-native premium domain marketplace helping startups and established businesses secure strong brand names and accelerate growth. The platform combines curated, world-class brandable domains with intelligent discovery tools, supporting the entire naming journey from idea generation through trademark support and brand monitoring.
As an Acquisitions Specialist, you will negotiate domain transactions directly between buyers and sellers, managing deals from initial negotiation through close. This is a hands-on role requiring active deal management, not lead generation or passive support. You'll negotiate price and terms with both parties, manage conversations across multiple stakeholders, and drive transactions to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiating domain acquisitions directly with buyers and sellers
- Managing each transaction from active negotiation through signed close
- Representing Atom professionally in high-stakes phone and email conversations
- Identifying each party's needs and structuring terms that move deals forward
- Keeping transactions on track and resolving sticking points
- Building a track record of closing difficult, high-value acquisitions
You should have 1–3 years of experience in sales, negotiation, acquisitions, or similarly high-stakes roles. Strong negotiation instincts, ability to hold your position under pressure, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. The role demands real drive and grit, especially when deals become complicated. Domain acquisitions experience is not required; the company hires for aptitude and disposition. Experience in real estate acquisitions, M&A, or other transaction-based negotiation work is a bonus.
The role offers direct mentorship from experienced operators in the domain and branding space, exposure to high-value deals and real decision-making, and a clear path to growth into senior acquisitions, account management, or strategy roles.
