Join SyBridge Technologies as an Accounts Receivable Specialist supporting financial operations across multiple sites. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for processing customer invoices and payments, managing collections, and ensuring accurate financial records in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily review of purchase orders and quotes to verify terms, values, and required documentation across multiple sites and software systems
- Processing customer invoices with proper documentation according to each customer's specific billing requirements
- Processing customer payments, including review of tuning funds, credit notes, and customer statements
- Regular follow-up on collections with communication tracking and escalation of commercial or quality issues to Operations and Sales
- Generating weekly aging reports and monthly summary reports for multi-site AR environment
- Analyzing collection issues and resolving customer queries and complaints via phone, email, or in-person
- Month-end accounting functions including journal entries, AR and sales analysis reconciliations
- Supervising and tracking accounts, write-offs, and reversals
- Monthly tax reporting including NEXUS and other tax requirements
- Supporting annual year-end audit as needed
- Maintaining confidentiality and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with Operations and Sales on customer collections
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting and tuning reporting
- Identifying process improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- Certification, diploma, or college degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 6 years of related experience preferred
- Experience with accounting software systems, preferably Dynamics 365, SAGE, or Job Vision
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficient in time management, written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
