You will join a small Accounts Payable team (3-4 people) and own the invoice-to-pay cycle for an assigned set of legal entities. This role offers visibility into the entire payables function rather than a single narrow step, giving you the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Processing and matching invoices in Zip and NetSuite
- Resolving invoice and PO mismatches, chasing missing approvals, and escalating exceptions with context
- Preparing payment runs on schedule across multiple entities and currencies
- Contributing to AP month-end close activities (aging reviews, accruals, reconciliation preparation)
- Serving as the primary contact for vendors and internal budget owners
- Administering employee expense submissions and card reconciliation
- Identifying friction points in AP processes and proposing practical improvements
The role operates on a flexible hybrid model requiring more than half your time on-site in the Dublin office (three days per week).
Requirements:
- Hands-on accounts payable experience across multiple legal entities and currencies
- Working knowledge of a mainstream ERP (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or SAP)
- Comfort with spreadsheets for reconciliation and high-volume data work
- Experience contributing to AP month-end close tasks (aging reviews, accruals, reconciliation)
- Clear, patient approach to vendor and stakeholder queries with confidence to follow up
- Strong attention to detail and judgment to escalate unusual items appropriately
- Curiosity about how systems work and willingness to learn new tools
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Zip or similar intake-to-pay platforms
- Experience with expense tooling (Expensify, Navan, Ramp)
- Accounting technician or part-professional qualification (IATI, ACCA, CIMA)
Note: University degree and formal qualifications are not required; candidates who reached accounts payable through alternative paths are welcome.
