As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be a key part of the financial operations team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expenditures for a fast-growing aerospace company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices, statements, payments, and expenditures with accuracy and timeliness
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports with account balances
- Partnering with Supply Chain to match receipts and resolve open purchase orders
- Reviewing employee expense reports and communicating exceptions for timely resolution
- Responding to vendor inquiries, ensuring prompt payment, and following up on outstanding credits
- Maintaining organized financial records and preparing account analyses and monthly reports
- Identifying opportunities to improve payment processes and efficiency
This is an on-site role based in South Burlington, Vermont, performed in an office environment using standard office equipment. The role requires the ability to lift and carry small parcels or packages and walk short distances.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- Two to five years of experience in accounts payable, expense reporting, or similar accounting support role
- Demonstrated ability to handle accounting and clerical processes with accuracy, organization, and sound follow-through
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working both independently and with teammates of varied experience levels
- Clear, professional communication with vendors, employees, and cross-functional partners
- Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and accounting, expense-reporting, or AP software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
