Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to help aerospace and defense companies build mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at lower cost. Following a $1.37B Series D at $7.87B valuation, the company is rapidly expanding manufacturing capabilities and scaling its Factory-as-a-Service platform. You will lead and scale the Accounts Payable function as it grows across multiple entities. This role owns the end-to-end AP process, manages and develops the AP team, and drives standardization and controls needed for rapid growth. You'll work in a dynamic environment where processes are actively evolving, requiring someone who can bring order while staying close to operational details. Key responsibilities include: leading and mentoring the AP team; owning the full AP cycle (invoice intake, coding, PO/non-PO matching, approvals, payment runs, vendor onboarding, credit cards, reimbursements); designing and documenting AP policies and workflows across multiple entities and cost centers; establishing internal controls, approval thresholds, and segregation of duties; owning AP systems (NetSuite ERP and Ramp OCR/spend) including configuration and optimization; managing vendor programs and 1099 reporting; owning month-end close including accruals, prepaids, fixed-asset coding, and reconciliations; resolving escalated and complex items; managing cash-out timing and payment scheduling with Treasury; defining and tracking AP metrics; and partnering cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, and department leaders. Required: 10+ years AP experience including 2-3+ years managing or leading an AP team; proven experience in high-volume and/or multi-entity environments; strong command of two-way/three-way matching, non-PO coding, credit cards, reimbursements, and vendor onboarding; deep understanding of expense coding, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and month-end close; ability to build and document AP processes and controls in scaling environments; comfort navigating complex GL structures and applying judgment to unusual transactions; strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables); excellent organizational, communication, and people-leadership skills. Preferred: hands-on NetSuite and Ramp experience; 1099 reporting and international AP exposure; prior aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or asset-heavy industry experience.
