You'll lead accounts payable operations from the Stockholm office, reporting to the AP Manager in New York. This is a hands-on role managing the full AP cycle as the company scales rapidly. You'll process invoices, coordinate multi-entity and multi-currency payment runs, manage vendor onboarding and master data, handle employee reimbursements and corporate card transactions, and serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders on payables matters.
The role involves finishing the rollout of mid-implementation AP systems and then advancing them further. You'll identify opportunities to automate manual processes, apply AI to repetitive tasks like invoice coding and exception handling, and build controls to keep the function audit-ready during fast scaling. You'll also document processes to ensure AP scales beyond any single person.
You bring 4+ years of accounts payable experience including full AP cycle processing, with a track record in high-volume, fast-paced environments. You're comfortable working across multiple legal entities and currencies, have hands-on ERP and AP system experience, and prefer improving systems rather than working around them. You communicate clearly with vendors and non-finance colleagues, work well under deadline pressure, and have a genuine interest in using automation and AI to improve work quality. Experience with Ramp, Zip, or NetSuite is a plus. You thrive in fast-moving environments where processes are still being built.
