In this role, you will own the long-term relationship with a portfolio of customers after sales and implementation, partnering directly with CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting Managers. You'll be responsible for building deep customer relationships, running success plans, and holding recurring meetings to maximize value attainment on Rillet's platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning customer relationships and outcomes across your portfolio
- Translating complex accounting challenges into automated workflows powered by Rillet's AI platform
- Applying accounting expertise to bridge technical product capabilities with real-world customer accounting needs
- Leading platform adoption through training and enablement, advising on process optimization and month-end close efficiency
- Providing front-line customer feedback to product and founders, triaging support issues with engineering
- Developing deep product expertise in Rillet's AI-native platform and staying current on new features
- Representing Rillet as the face of the company with high customer empathy and structured problem-solving
This role is ideal for an accountant who wants to transition into a client-facing, solutions-oriented position. You don't need a traditional Customer Success background—what matters is your accounting expertise, desire to solve complex problems, and ability to drive measurable customer impact.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience (public audit/assurance or industry GL/Close, Revenue, AP, or Consolidations)
- Understanding of UK GAAP and the end-to-end close process; exposure to IFRS and technical accounting concepts (IFRS 15/revenue recognition) is a plus
- Proven ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations and automated workflows
- Experience with ERPs (NetSuite, Intacct, or similar) and comfort learning new finance tools
- Bias to action, ownership mindset, and high attention to detail in a fast-moving environment
- CPA (active or inactive) preferred; prior client-facing/consulting or implementation experience is a plus but not required
