Tilt is seeking an Accounting Senior Manager to lead accounting operations for its Brazilian entities, including a FIDC (securitization vehicle). Based in São Paulo on a hybrid schedule, you will own the complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle for all Brazil entities and deliver consolidated reporting packages to the US finance team.
Key responsibilities include: directing outsourced accounting providers through the local close, reviewing their work, maintaining statutory books and regulatory filings in compliance with Brazilian GAAP, and preparing US GAAP reporting packages with local-to-US GAAP bridges. You will manage relationships with external accounting, tax, and payroll providers, holding them accountable to agreed deliverables and quality standards. You'll oversee accounting and reporting for the FIDC, including review of administrator and custodian calculations, receivables portfolio management, loan loss provisioning, subordination mechanics, and CVM filings.
Additional duties include Brazilian tax compliance oversight with external advisors, reconciliation and journal entry review, intercompany activity and FX translation management, and coordination of statutory and FIDC audits. You will serve as the primary accounting contact in Brazil for banking partners, fund administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders, and will document processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual work through systems or process improvements.
You report directly to the Corporate Controller in the United States and will work across time zones. The role requires fluency in both Portuguese and English, written and spoken.
