Salary: AED 503,500 - 530,000 / annual
Coinbase is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead finance operations for Coinbase Tokenized Equities, a product enabling non-US users to buy tokens backed 1:1 by US stocks and ETFs. The tokens are issued from Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and trade 24/7 on-chain.
This is a senior individual contributor role building the accounting and reporting model from the ground up. You will own accounting policy, regulatory and legal entity reporting, controls, GL operations, and finance systems. You'll coordinate across Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Controllership, external auditors, and regulators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building the accounting model covering token issuance/redemption, asset tracking, intercompany flows, and close processes
- Owning regulatory compliance and FSRA reporting, including regulator liaison and ad hoc query response
- Partnering with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance Data to ensure new flows are accurate, controlled, and scalable
- Signing off on fund flows, posting rules, account setup, ledger structure, reconciliations, and reporting before launch
- Leading accounting analysis for new structures under US GAAP and IFRS (dividends, splits, balance sheet treatment)
- Building the reporting framework for the issuer entity, including annual audited IFRS financials and external audit support
- Setting up a control environment for regulated launch with audit trails, books and records, and data integrity across on-chain and off-chain systems
- Identifying accounting, controls, and reporting risks early with clear ownership and mitigation plans
Required qualifications: degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA strongly preferred); strong accounting/finance experience in regulated settings (capital markets, broker-dealer, exchange, custody, clearing, or digital assets); direct experience working with financial regulators; proven ability to apply accounting rules to new/complex products; experience building new finance processes for new products/entities/regulatory regimes; strong controls mindset; clear communication skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; familiarity with FSRA regulatory framework; ability to responsibly use generative AI tools in daily workflows.
