Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. They partner with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems. As Accounting Manager (Record-to-Report), you will lead the end-to-end close process and manage a team of GL accountants, supporting Mistral's rapid international expansion. You will own monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all entities. Key responsibilities include: - Owning and executing the complete close process with detailed tracking and risk management - Building and maintaining close calendars and checklists to meet all deadlines - Managing and coordinating the R2R team, allocating responsibilities and ensuring delivery - Overseeing journal entries, trial balance accuracy, and monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts - Investigating and resolving unusual or aged items to maintain data integrity - Managing intercompany accounting and reconciliation across multiple entities - Preparing data for group consolidation and supporting audit and statutory reporting - Contributing to process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives Required qualifications: - CPA or equivalent professional designation with at least 8 years of accounting experience - Minimum 2+ years at a Big 4 firm - Solid knowledge of IFRS - Strong experience in General Ledger and close processes, particularly in multi-entity or international environments - Strong organizational and time management skills to manage deadlines under pressure - Fluent in English; French is a plus Advanced proficiency in SAP S4/HANA is preferred.
