Glow25 is a dynamic Berlin-based beauty and pro-aging company on a mission to create lasting glow moments. You will join a growing Finance team responsible for managing a complex Order2Cash process across multiple sales channels—Amazon, marketplaces, and B2B—each with distinct logic, fee structures, and compliance requirements.
In this role, you will own the accounts receivable and revenue posting function, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all channels. You will analyze marketplace-specific nuances including fees, returns, and chargebacks, and maintain systematic account and debtor reconciliations. You will prepare monthly VAT advance returns (USt-VA) in DATEV, handle OSS (One-Stop-Shop) filings for relevant countries, and ensure international VAT compliance. You will actively contribute to month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
You will work with systems including DATEV, AccountOne, and CountX, and play an active role in process optimization and integration of marketplace data sources. This is not a role of routine maintenance—you will question existing processes and help shape smarter, more efficient workflows.
The team values structured thinking, reliability, self-direction, curiosity about new tools and markets, and a mindset that sees digitalization as both a tool and a philosophy. You will collaborate openly across teams and share your expertise.
Benefits include flexible working hours, full home office setup with €500 equipment allowance (Mac or Windows), €50 monthly Glow Card (€600/year value), access to Glowcademy learning platform, 40% employee discount on products, 30 days vacation plus 1 personal holiday plus up to 10 unpaid days, occupational health insurance (€600/year), and pension contributions of €600 after probation plus 20% company match.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed training as Steuerfachangestellter (tax assistant) or equivalent accounting qualification
- Solid experience with VAT (USt-VA, OSS, international regulations)
- Confident system competency with DATEV or comparable accounting software
- Curiosity about e-commerce and digitalization (prior knowledge not required)
- German language proficiency (C1 level), good English
- Structured, meticulous work style with non-negotiable attention to accuracy
