AppDirect is a subscription commerce platform enabling digital entrepreneurs worldwide to sell products through any channel on any device. This Accounting Analyst role is based in Buenos Aires with a hybrid schedule: one day per week onsite, four days remote.
You will support the accounting function across monthly and year-end close processes. Key responsibilities include assisting with journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis; preparing accruals and prepaid analysis; performing bank reconciliations; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights. You'll help prepare U.S. GAAP financial statements, support external audits and due diligence requests, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Additional duties include special projects, analyses, and supporting the implementation of accounting systems and tools.
You bring experience in both public and private accounting with strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, controls, and systems. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is required (completed or in progress with equivalent experience). Direct experience supporting the accounting function of US/Europe-based international companies (1+ years) is strongly desired. You're skilled at establishing and optimizing reporting processes, managing multiple projects with limited supervision, and communicating effectively across all organizational levels. NetSuite ERP experience and advanced Excel skills are valued.
