Enpal, Europe's first green unicorn, is building the world's largest renewable energy community by offering solar panel systems, energy storage, and wallboxes with an all-inclusive pricing model. We are seeking an Accountant to join our Tunis office and support our rapid growth in the renewable energy sector.
You will oversee the complete customer invoicing cycle from order to payment collection, including handling various scenarios and tracking incoming payments. On the vendor side, you'll record supplier invoices, manage purchase order approval workflows, and plan payments accordingly. Your responsibilities include performing periodic bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations to ensure accounting accuracy.
You will contribute to monthly and quarterly financial closings, manage VAT processes, and support tax compliance activities through year-end reporting. You'll prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, schedules, and reconciliations to support management reporting and external audits. Additionally, you'll help optimize accounting and treasury workflows across group entities and support specific finance projects as needed.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Les Berges du Lac 1, Tunis, working Monday to Friday.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Mandatory: Experience with Italian accounting
- Strong asset: Experience with Tunisian accounting
- Proficiency with Excel
- Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Confluence, Miro, Docuware, Office, Trello, and Jira (a plus)
- Fluent English and Italian (minimum B2 level required)
