Qover is a leading insurtech scale-up that has raised $70 million and operates a platform protecting millions of users across 32 European countries. The company works with top brands including Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, Canyon, and Monzo to help them orchestrate digital embedded insurance experiences.
You will join the Finance & Accounting team as an Accountant, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely closing of Qover's books. Your responsibilities will include handling operational accounting queries, managing both standard accounting activities and those specific to the insurtech business model (for which training will be provided), and taking a creative approach to setting up and improving internal processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute daily accounting operations and month-end/year-end closing procedures
- Process and reconcile accounts, manage general ledger entries
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Support financial reporting and audit requirements
- Implement and optimize accounting tools and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial queries and process improvements
- Develop expertise in insurance-specific accounting practices
