Eventeny is a SaaS platform that simplifies large-scale event management for festivals, conventions, and similar gatherings. The company serves over 36,000 events worldwide and is building tools to reduce the stress of event organization.
As an Account Strategist, you will be a core member of the Account Strategy team, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key customer accounts. You'll drive retention, renewals, and expansion revenue while ensuring customers successfully adopt the Eventeny platform and realize maximum value from their investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of core Eventeny clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and expansion opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client goals, translating them into actionable strategies, and aligning them with product capabilities
- Analyze account health metrics to identify risks early and implement proactive retention strategies
- Forecast renewals, manage contract negotiations, and drive upsell, cross-sell, and referral opportunities
- Prepare data-driven account plans to demonstrate ROI and identify growth opportunities
- Communicate product knowledge effectively and develop creative solutions to customer challenges
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
- Establish and maintain regular communication cadence throughout the renewal cycle
- Occasionally assist with live events, customer calls, or presentations
You will partner closely with the Customer Operations team to deliver exceptional customer experience while developing expertise in strategic account management, expansion, and revenue growth. This is a full-time, salaried, quota-carrying position.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in account management, strategic management, or a growth-oriented client-facing role
- Demonstrated ability to grow or retain client accounts in a prior client-facing role
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to proactively manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Empathy and compassion in handling clients
- Ability to quickly identify challenges and brainstorm solutions
- High-level knowledge of G-Suite products (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs), Intercom, Asana, and Slack
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and a data/analytics mindset
- Plus: Experience in the event and/or SaaS industry
