As an Account Manager, you will own and grow a portfolio of existing Commercial customers, driving retention and expansion revenue. You'll build strong relationships with key stakeholders, uncover expansion opportunities (upsells and cross-sells), and ensure customers realize measurable value from Algolia's platform. This is a strategic, high-ownership role requiring consultative selling and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a large portfolio of existing customers with accountability for recurring revenue retention and growth
- Developing deep understanding of customer business objectives and success criteria to identify expansion opportunities
- Acting as primary commercial point of contact, building trust-based relationships with decision-makers
- Driving account planning and execution strategies aligned to customer goals
- Leading commercial conversations including renewals, pricing, and expansion
- Partnering with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Support teams
- Monitoring account health and usage signals to identify and mitigate churn risk
- Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Serving as trusted advisor bringing insights and best practices
You bring 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales or account management experience with proven ownership of renewals and expansion revenue. Ideally you have background with eCommerce or digital experience platforms. You're customer-first, skilled at managing a book of business, identifying expansion opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally. You thrive in high-growth, dynamic environments managing high account volumes with strong attention to detail.
Required: Fluent in Dutch and English. Nice-to-haves include SaaS/API/developer product experience, familiarity with usage-based business models, and knowledge of Dutch/Nordic markets.
