The Account Manager, Financial Services role sits within the Customer Success team, which combines Product Specialists and Account Managers serving Fortune 1000 and major financial institutions. You will be the primary point of contact for financial services clients (hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, private equity firms), managing inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions. Key responsibilities include: maximizing retention rates across your book of business; driving adoption of AlphaSense solutions into new business units within existing clients to exceed revenue targets; identifying revenue at risk to prevent churn; forecasting retention rates; and collaborating with Account Executives to uncover growth opportunities. You will also serve as a conduit between clients and internal teams (product, marketing, sales), extracting insights that inform company strategy. You are relationship-driven with demonstrated success managing and growing relationships at Fortune 1000 or financial services companies. You are a subject matter expert with strong business acumen, internal/external relationship management skills, and commitment to effective processes. You possess intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and grit. You understand SaaS best practices and ideally have exposure to AI or research-based products. You are an exceptional communicator—comfortable engaging analysts through C-level executives—and can distill complex issues into simple terms.
