Salary: CAD 130,000 - 170,000 / annual
Ada is an AI customer service platform that helps enterprise companies automate and scale customer support. The company has powered over 5.5 billion interactions for brands like Square, YETI, IPSY, and Monday.com, and is backed by $250M+ in funding from top-tier investors.
As an Account Manager in the Ada Accelerate program, you will own a portfolio of approximately 60 customers representing roughly $2.5M in annual recurring revenue. This is a scaled, high-volume role focused on customer retention, health, and expansion within your book of business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the full renewal cycle for your customer portfolio and hitting retention targets
- Proactively monitoring account health through usage metrics, automation rates, and engagement signals
- Conducting regular business reviews that connect Ada's value to customer outcomes (resolved conversations, cost savings, team capacity)
- Identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities such as higher conversation volume, new channels, or new use cases
- Building strong relationships with day-to-day contacts and budget decision-makers
- Maintaining accurate forecasting in Salesforce with weekly updates on renewals and pipeline
- Recognizing when accounts need escalation to senior teams or have outgrown the Accelerate program
- Communicating customer needs clearly to internal teams (Support, Product, Solutions)
This role emphasizes portfolio management and prioritization—you'll learn to allocate your time strategically across 60 accounts, identify which need attention this week, and keep momentum without excessive hand-holding. You'll carry both a retention target and an expansion target, gaining real experience owning numbers and spotting growth opportunities with coaching support.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing or commercial role (Account Manager, BDR/SDR, Customer Success, Account Executive), ideally in B2B SaaS
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously without dropping details
- Genuine interest in talking to customers and skill at identifying what they truly care about
- Curiosity about business operations and ability to understand the numbers behind customer results
- Composure when handling frustrated customers and reliability in following through on commitments
- Coachability: actively seeking feedback, acting on it, and improving quickly
- Ability to translate customer needs into clear, simple language for internal teams
- Comfort with tools like Salesforce, Google Workspace, or MS Office; quick learner with new software
- Bonus: prior experience carrying a quota or target, even a small one
