Nomic is an AI platform for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. The company deploys AI agents that understand drawings, specifications, codes, and project data—working within existing AEC workflows to automate drawing review, code compliance, submittal review, and project research. Nomic works with top-tier global engineering and construction firms and is expanding across North America, APAC, and the Middle East.
As an Account Executive for the SMB segment, you will own the complete sales cycle for small and mid-sized AEC firms—from initial outreach through close and into expansion. This is a high-velocity sales role with shorter deal cycles, higher volume, and a focus on efficiency. Your buyers are typically principals, project leads, or operations managers who are technical and hands-on.
Key responsibilities include: (1) Pipeline Development—managing inbound demand and marketing-qualified leads with rapid response times, running your own outbound prospecting to target SMB AEC firms, qualifying quickly against fit criteria, and maintaining accurate pipeline in HubSpot; (2) Sales Execution—running independent, high-quality product demos using real customer drawings and specs, handling technical questions, moving opportunities through the Crawl-Walk-Run engagement model, managing high volumes of concurrent deals, and closing within standard commercial terms; (3) Account Growth & Expansion—identifying seat expansion and new use case opportunities, partnering with Customer Success on adoption signals, and building repeatable patterns for the SMB segment.
You will have access to state-of-the-art AI sales tools for research, outreach, and deal execution, and will work alongside engineers and researchers who have built some of the most capable AI systems in the industry.
Minimum qualifications: 3–5 years of B2B SaaS closing experience with consistent quota attainment; experience in high-velocity sales environments managing large volumes of concurrent deals; ability to run technical demos independently and speak credibly to technical buyers; comfort with outbound prospecting; proficiency with HubSpot or equivalent CRM; based in New York City with availability for three days per week in office and willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
Preferred qualifications include AEC industry experience (selling into or working within architecture, engineering, or construction), experience selling AI, automation, or technical SaaS products, and familiarity with high-velocity or product-led sales motions.
