Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 / annual
Freshworks is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive sales and build relationships with mid-sized businesses (500–1,000 employees) seeking employee experience (EX) and IT service management (ITSM) solutions.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, leading consultative conversations to understand customer needs around ITSM, onboarding, and employee engagement. You will build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and virtual selling, navigate buying teams with empathy and clarity, and own the full deal cycle from discovery through negotiation and close. You will also collaborate closely with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

This is a hybrid role based in San Mateo, CA, with onsite expectations of 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS or mid-market sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets and building strong customer relationships
- Natural communicator with strong listening skills, ability to ask strategic questions, and drive value
- Solid understanding of SaaS platforms; experience with employee experience (EX) solutions is a plus
- Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments where ideas are valued
- Consultative, adaptable, and thoughtful approach; strategic yet hands-on when needed
