As a Senior Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for strategic enterprise and public-sector organizations across the Middle East & Africa (META) region, including major sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, government, energy, healthcare, and large national enterprises.
You will be a consultative, strategic seller who excels at building long-term partnerships and navigating complex, high-stakes enterprise and government environments. This is a high-impact, autonomous role with ownership of a strategic territory. You'll navigate intricate decision-making processes, work directly with C-suite and ministerial stakeholders, and position Cohere as a trusted AI partner across national-scale initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: driving net-new customer acquisition through targeted outbound activity and executive engagement; acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise and public-sector prospects; working with channel partners and system integrators to scale outreach; leveraging senior-level relationships with executives and government decision-makers; collaborating with Product and Engineering teams on strategic solutions; partnering with SDRs and Marketing on territory growth; and owning the complete sales cycle from discovery through deal close.
You bring 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with a strong history of negotiating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in META. You have a consistent track record of exceeding quota in high-growth environments, preferably with experience selling complex enterprise technology, developer platforms, private deployments, or AI/NLP products. Deep relationships with senior executives across META enterprises, ministries, telcos, banks, and sovereign entities are essential. You're comfortable with ambiguity, capable of building markets from the ground up, and excel at managing multiple internal and external stakeholders. Arabic and English language proficiency is required.
