AlphaSense is seeking an Account Executive focused on Existing Business to join its growing sales team. You will be responsible for expanding relationships with existing financial services clients—including hedge funds, asset managers, investment bankers, and sell-side research departments—by identifying upsell opportunities, conducting product demos, managing trials, and closing deals. The role is a farming-focused position where you will own the end-to-end sales process within your territory. Key responsibilities include researching opportunities within existing accounts, initiating discussions with new teams, prospecting, conducting demonstrations, managing product trials, and closing sales. You will forecast accurately, develop pipeline to meet and exceed targets, and partner closely with marketing to expand brand awareness. During client trials, you'll collaborate with the Product Specialist team to ensure engagement and success. You'll also gather market and client feedback to inform product, content, and marketing teams. AlphaSense is a market intelligence platform trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500. The company combines AI-driven search with a comprehensive universe of public and private content—equity research, company filings, event transcripts, expert calls, news, and trade journals—to help sophisticated organizations remove uncertainty from decision-making. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in NYC, AlphaSense has 2,000+ employees globally with offices across the US, UK, Finland, India, Singapore, Canada, and Ireland. You should have proven experience selling to the financial markets (buy-side and sell-side), ideally in SaaS, financial information, or research organizations. A track record of achieving sales targets, strong prospecting and pipeline-building skills, and the ability to influence across organizational levels are essential. You are energetic, curious, and learn quickly. You communicate exceptionally well—orally, in writing, and in presentations—and can distill complex topics into simple terms. You build rapport easily, maintain relationships, and demonstrate consistent work ethic and initiative. Travel to clients monthly or quarterly is required.
