Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. They partner with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems.
As an Enterprise Account Executive based in New York, you will drive Mistral AI's adoption among large enterprise customers. You will own the entire sales cycle from strategic outbound prospecting and warm introductions through deal closure, working closely with implementation, technical, and legal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct strategic outreach and manage qualified inbound leads, identifying upselling and bespoke agreement opportunities
- Provide hands-on support during Proof of Concept phases, ensuring smooth customer evaluation and converting successful POCs into long-term contracts
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, serving as the primary point of contact for all external stakeholders
- Manage complex negotiations end-to-end, collaborating with legal and implementation teams
- Cultivate relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers, positioning Mistral's solutions as integral to their strategic AI initiatives
- Demonstrate deep technical understanding of products and articulate value propositions effectively to enterprise clients
- Work closely with technical and implementation teams to address customer questions and concerns across pre-sales, deployment, and post-deployment phases
- Empower internal teams with customer insights to drive product roadmap alignment
You bring 7-10 years of enterprise sales experience with highly complex, technical products. You have deep knowledge of US market dynamics and enterprise landscapes, with significant experience in the AI ecosystem or related data/infrastructure fields. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. You've worked at successful, fast-growing startups in deep-tech, possess strong technical skills to navigate evolving products and lead technical discussions, and have excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English (French is a bonus). Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills are essential.
