- Identifying where conversational AI can drive growth, automation, or cost efficiency in workflows such as claims intake, policy servicing, renewals, billing support, agent/broker support, and contact center coaching
- Staying current on the conversational AI landscape, competitive solutions, and emerging trends in insurance AI governance and regulation
- Developing and executing account strategies across multiple buying groups (Claims Operations, Customer Service, Distribution, Digital/Technology, Compliance/Legal/InfoSec), landing with one high-impact use case and expanding across lines of business
- Partnering with Forward Deployed Engineers to solution use cases, manage Proofs of Value, and guide customers through security and AI governance reviews
- Partnering with Legal teams on strategic, fast-moving negotiations
- Serving as a trusted advisor on generative AI and voice, sharing field insights to sharpen positioning and messaging
The role is remote-first and can be executed from anywhere in the United States, with a requirement to operate in EST, CST, or PST timezones. There is a preference for candidates based in New York or San Francisco with the option to work from the office.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience in SaaS or technology, ideally with exposure to AI, generative AI, LLM-based products, or API-driven platforms
- Insurance experience (carriers, MGAs, brokers, insurtech) is preferred but not required; demonstrated adaptability and fast ramp in a new industry are weighted heavily
- Proven success closing six- and seven-figure deals and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Proven ability to take a warm introduction through discovery, Proof of Value, and procurement to close
- Experience selling to both technical buyers (product and engineering) and business buyers (claims, customer service, distribution, digital), and to compliance and risk gatekeepers, with ability to translate complex technology into business value
- Adept at deeply understanding a customer's business and translating ElevenLabs' capabilities into solutions that deliver against their needs
- Proficient in enterprise procurement, security review, and legal processes, including regulated-industry vendor risk, AI governance, and data protection reviews; able to work autonomously as a cross-functional partner
- Strong executive presence, ability to build relationships with senior executives, and willingness to travel frequently for onsite client visits and conferences
- High EQ, self-aware, and curious; low ego and hands-on, comfortable running your own prospecting and deals
- Comfort in an early-stage, high-growth environment where ambiguity is the norm and the state of play changes rapidly
- Passion for voice and conversational AI and how it can unlock transformative value for customers
