Dome Systems is building a governance and control plane for AI agents across enterprises. The company addresses a critical gap: as AI agents become more autonomous and unpredictable, traditional access controls (API gateways, RBAC, network policies) are insufficient. Dome's platform helps enterprises govern, connect, and operate AI agents securely across any cloud, framework, or model.
As an early-stage Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the complete sales cycle from qualified opportunity through contract signature. Your primary buyers are platform engineers, security leaders, and infrastructure teams at Fortune 2000 and large digital-native companies who need confidence in their ability to govern deployed AI agents.
Key responsibilities include running full-cycle enterprise sales with multi-stakeholder buying committees (platform engineering, security, finance); selling into platform and security teams as the primary entry point while navigating to VP and CISO-level approvals; partnering with Solutions Engineers and product/engineering during technical evaluations; building qualification and forecasting discipline that informs market understanding; working directly with founders on positioning, pricing, and deal strategy; and representing Dome at industry conferences and communities where platform and security engineers congregate.
This is a technical, consultative sale. You'll be helping define a new category—the story, qualification framework, and reference customers you build now will inform how future sales teams operate. You're not executing a pre-built playbook; you're designing the system.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle enterprise software sales, ideally in infrastructure, security, developer tools, or platform categories where buyers are technical. You have a proven track record closing deals with multi-stakeholder enterprise committees. You're comfortable selling into emerging categories without established budget lines, spending time helping buyers understand the problem before vendor comparison. You have genuine curiosity about the technology—you don't need to write policy code, but you understand why agent governance differs fundamentally from API governance and can explain that clearly to skeptical engineers. You bias toward building repeatable systems and documenting what works rather than winging deals. Prior experience at early-stage startups (seed to Series B) and specific experience selling to platform engineering or security teams are strong pluses.
Dome operates with high trust and low formality. The team defaults to context over instructions and trusts people to work productively from anywhere. This role is hybrid based near the SF Bay Area hub, with expectations for in-person time for team building, deal strategy, and collaborative moments that benefit from being in a room.
