Cradle is an AI-guided protein discovery and optimization platform used by leading biotech, biopharma, agri-tech, food-tech, and academic organizations. The company has achieved product-market fit with a rapidly expanding enterprise customer base and is backed by multiple years of funding. The team of ~100 is distributed across Amsterdam, Boston, Zurich, and remote locations.
As an Enterprise Account Executive based remotely on the US West Coast, you will lead strategic sales engagements with influential R&D organizations, owning key relationships and driving multi-million-dollar partnerships. You'll focus on enterprise accounts, including top-30 pharma companies, and deliver millions in annually recurring revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving business development across biotech and biopharma, nurturing leads and closing high-value enterprise deals
- Owning strategic accounts and delivering millions in ARR
- Partnering cross-functionally with product, ML, engineering, and customer success teams on technically complex projects
- Acting as the voice of the market, surfacing customer feedback to inform product direction and roadmap
- Building a personal brand in biotech and AI-for-science through events, engagement with scientists and executives, and establishing trusted advisor relationships
- Shaping sales processes, playbooks, and materials as the company scales
You'll operate with ownership, urgency, and creativity in a fast-growing, ambitious environment with significant autonomy to reimagine how enterprise sales works in a science-driven startup.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced degree in life sciences (structural/molecular biology, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemical engineering) OR equivalent hands-on experience working with R&D teams in biotech or pharma
- 5+ years in B2B sales (ideally SaaS) with proven track record of consistently exceeding quota (top 5%)
- Ability to confidently navigate highly technical topics and translate them into business value for R&D stakeholders and executives
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; energized by building from scratch and writing the playbook
- Strong listening skills, innate curiosity, and humility in learning
NICE TO HAVES:
- Strong business network across biotech/pharma on US West Coast
- Domain knowledge in machine learning or its applications in life sciences
- Prior experience at a B2B growth-stage startup
- Prior experience as bioinformatician or wet lab scientist in industrial or academic setting
