Morning Consult is a global decision intelligence company that pairs proprietary high-frequency survey data with AI to help leaders make faster, smarter decisions. The company surveys 30,000+ people daily across 50+ countries and serves Fortune 500 brands, central banks, and leading media institutions including Apple, Google, Netflix, Amazon, Salesforce, Target, American Express, and Starbucks.
This is Morning Consult's first dedicated UK-based hire and a greenfield opportunity to build the EMEA go-to-market motion from the ground up. You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and own a quota-carrying revenue number from day one, focusing on the UK and broader EMEA markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, high-value enterprise sales cycles with average deal sizes of £75,000–£85,000
- Own full-cycle sales activities: prospecting, outreach, discovery, demonstrations, and closing
- Build pipeline independently in a greenfield market through self-sourced outbound prospecting
- Deliver customized platform demonstrations and thought leadership to C-level and executive stakeholders
- Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce
- Provide market feedback to the CRO and US-based GTM team on buyer resonance, competitive positioning, and regional insights
- Represent Morning Consult externally at UK trade press briefings and the flagship UK launch event
- Prospect into continental EMEA to build the case for future regional hires
You will have direct support from the US-based GTM team on developing local playbooks, sales enablement, competitive positioning, and marketing collateral. This role emphasizes genuine interest in market positioning and buyer strategy—figuring out how to enter and win a market, not just executing an established playbook.
Work Model: Remote-first with no mandatory office days, though regular client travel and in-person events (including the UK launch event) are expected.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of enterprise sales experience (or equivalent demonstrated track record) with a strong record of closing complex, net-new deals in SaaS, data, or market research environments
- Demonstrated ability to independently build pipeline through outbound prospecting without reliance on inbound leads or SDR support
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- BS/BA or equivalent; advanced degree a plus
- Deep intellectual curiosity and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences
- Advanced knowledge of marketing, communications, data, or brand strategy
- Genuine interest in market positioning and buyer strategy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to executive and C-suite audiences
- Familiarity with survey research and its methods (highly valued, but not required)
- Experience selling into UK and/or European enterprise buyers (preferred, not required)
- Based in London, UK with flexibility for overlap with US-based teams
- Must have right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship (UK or Irish citizenship, settled/pre-settled status, or independent right to work)
