Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI. The company designs and operates global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems. You will serve as an Account Executive reporting to the Data Partnerships Lead, owning the full sales cycle for business-data partnerships. This is an individual-contributor role focused on acquiring partnerships, not selling datasets or managing teams. Key responsibilities include: - Qualifying opportunities through deep discovery into a business's data needs, priorities, decision-makers, and partnership rationale - Building alignment across business, technical, and legal stakeholders; coordinating data samples and feasibility reviews while surfacing ownership, confidentiality, access, and delivery questions early - Developing proposals with clear partnership cases, defined scope, deliverables, economics, and responsibilities - Negotiating commercial terms within approved limits and driving opportunities through required specialist reviews, approvals, and signed agreements - Providing Operations with clear onboarding plans and serving as the commercial point of contact through first accepted delivery, resolving partner-side blockers while specialists own implementation - Owning an opportunity portfolio and sourcing strategic accounts independently; providing feedback on SDR handoffs and maintaining accurate CRM records - Building trusted partner relationships, identifying repeat-delivery or expansion opportunities, and sharing deal patterns and win/loss learning to improve the closing playbook Requirements: - Personally negotiated and closed B2B deals or partnerships, including self-sourced opportunities - Strong discovery and commercial judgment; ability to qualify a business, build a partnership case, and navigate multiple stakeholders - Comfort with non-standard commercial terms and judgment to involve Legal or technical specialists when needed - Disciplined pipeline ownership, accurate forecasting, and ability to build trust with senior operators and technical decision-makers - Based in New York or willing to relocate Preferred qualifications: - Experience with licensing, data partnerships, sensitive digital assets, or engineering and manufacturing businesses - Early-stage experience closing deals without a mature playbook and staying involved after signature to support delivery
