Salary: USD 38 - 54.08 / hourly
DocuSign is seeking an Account Executive for Commercial Sales to drive new business development in assigned geographic territories (Chicago or Seattle). This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President of Commercial Sales.
You will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines through prospecting, and driving adoption of DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform. Key responsibilities include building and managing a sales pipeline within your geographic territory, delivering customized sales presentations and product demonstrations, developing and negotiating enterprise-level proposals and contracts, and forecasting sales activity with accuracy. You'll collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, Customer Success teams, Partner Account Managers, and internal support functions including Legal, Security, and Professional Services.
The role requires exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, and strong forecast accuracy. You'll work with both new customer acquisition and expansion into existing accounts with additional use cases and products.
Required qualifications: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years as an Account Executive or equivalent quota-carrying role, proficiency with Salesforce.com and Google Suite, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to travel approximately 10% as needed.
Preferred qualifications: 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, experience selling web-based products/services, ability to manage and close complex sales cycles, and demonstrated track record of over-achieving quotas (top 10-20% of company).
The position is hybrid with a minimum 2 days per week in-office requirement.
