Orbital is an AI-powered legal tech platform transforming commercial real estate transactions. The company has just raised $60M in Series B funding and is expanding its US presence. Orbital Copilot is an AI assistant built for real estate lawyers that accelerates due diligence by up to 70% while maintaining legal-grade precision. The platform is trusted by leading firms like Goodwin and BCLP.
As an Account Executive, you will be a founding member of the remote sales team, responsible for building and owning a pipeline of new business opportunities within the legal and commercial real estate sectors. You will identify and qualify prospects through a combination of self-sourced outbound and inbound leads, partnering with the marketing team on ABM campaigns targeting law firms and in-house legal teams.
Your core responsibilities include running disciplined sales cycles from first contact through close, conducting discovery calls to uncover pain points and quantify business impact, and delivering tailored product demonstrations to real estate legal teams. You will navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving attorneys, IT, and senior leadership, managing pipeline hygiene in HubSpot using MEDDPICC frameworks.
You will collaborate closely with Legal Solutions Architects on pre-sales support, work with the Sales Manager on pipeline reviews and deal strategy, and provide field feedback to Product and Marketing on customer needs and competitive dynamics. As a founding Chicago hire, you'll help shape the go-to-market approach and sales playbook.
Required qualifications include 2-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting quota, proven ability to run complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, strong discovery and qualification skills, and the ability to generate your own pipeline. You must be a clear communicator comfortable in high-growth, scaling environments, and capable of learning and articulating complex subject matter related to legal and real estate domains.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience selling into legal, real estate, or regulated industries, familiarity with AI or technology products, exposure to MEDDIC/MEDDPICC frameworks, and experience at Series A-C SaaS companies.
