OpenLoop is a telehealth platform company that empowers healthcare and digital health organizations to launch compliant virtual care solutions at scale. The company was co-founded by Dr. Jon Lensing (CEO) and Christian Williams (COO) with a mission to bring care anywhere.
As an Account Executive for Care Management, you will own the full sales cycle for a defined portfolio of prospective customers in the healthcare and digital health space. Your responsibilities include:
- Building pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and account research within OpenLoop's target market
- Managing opportunities from initial outreach through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Conducting thorough discovery to understand prospects' business models, pain points, workflows, and buying processes
- Developing fluency across OpenLoop's platform, services, APIs, and integrations to credibly communicate value
- Multi-threading relationships with multiple stakeholders to understand decision-making dynamics
- Driving deals forward by maintaining clear next steps, identifying blockers early, and coordinating internal resources (Legal, Product, Solutions, leadership)
- Participating in commercial negotiations while balancing customer value with business objectives
- Maintaining CRM discipline with accurate data, pipeline stages, and forecasts
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners and sharing market feedback
This is described as an execution-focused role, distinct from a more senior L8 position that would independently build pipeline strategy and shape GTM motion.
OpenLoop operates with a relatively flat organizational structure emphasizing autonomy, competence, and belonging, encouraging all team members to contribute ideas and take ownership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally with quota ownership and new business closing
- Demonstrated experience managing a complete sales process from prospecting through close
- Comfort with proactive pipeline generation rather than relying solely on inbound
- Ability to learn complex products and communicate value credibly
- Strong discovery questioning skills and ability to connect customer needs to business outcomes
- Comfort engaging multiple stakeholders within accounts
- Judgment about when to self-serve vs. escalate to internal experts
- Organized and disciplined approach to CRM hygiene, pipeline management, and follow-up
- Responsiveness to coaching and active application of feedback
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments with evolving processes
