The Channel Account Executive role focuses on building and managing relationships with insurance brokers to generate pipeline and close deals. This is an early-stage position within Rippling's broker channel program, offering significant opportunity to shape the future of the channel strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and build relationships with insurance brokers
- Build pipeline of opportunities through referrals from broker partners
- Manage pipeline in Salesforce to accurately forecast revenue
- Run sales calls with short deck presentations and detailed product demos
- Close business and achieve quota attainment consistently
- Become a product expert across the entire Rippling platform and understand the competitive landscape
- Work closely with the Customer Success Management (CSM) team to ensure smooth transitions for new customers
- Take partners out to events such as golf, dinners, sporting events, and concerts to build relationships
The role combines high-velocity sales cycles with strategic relationship management. Channel AEs are expected to work in-office at least three days per week if located within 40 miles of a Rippling office.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience, particularly in SaaS B2B markets
- Experience carrying $650,000+ annual quota
- Proven track record of success (top 10% of sales organization)
- Previous experience selling HRIS/HCM software and/or security-related products
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
