Salary: USD 121,100 - 168,200 / annual
Mercury is a fintech platform providing banking, treasury, and financial workflow solutions for startups and technology companies. As an Account Executive, you will own the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach through close, targeting founders, business owners, and finance teams across growing segments including eCommerce, Marketing Agencies, Consulting, and Staffing.
Key responsibilities include building and managing a high-velocity sales pipeline in partnership with Mercury's SDR team, identifying new lead sources, converting signups into long-term customers, and managing complex sales cycles using internal tools. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with the Relationship Management and Partnerships teams to onboard customers and unlock new acquisition channels. A critical part of the role is translating customer feedback into product insights that inform development priorities.
You'll work in a fast-paced environment where consultative selling and deep discovery are essential. Success requires strong pipeline management, ability to simplify complex financial topics for diverse audiences, and genuine curiosity about helping innovative businesses grow. The role offers exposure to multiple verticals and the opportunity to shape how Mercury serves different industries' unique financial needs.
Mercury provides competitive base salary, equity (stock options), and comprehensive benefits. Salary ranges from $121,100–$151,400 for most US locations, or $134,600–$168,200 for New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or San Francisco Bay Area roles, based on experience and geographic location.
