OpenAI's Go To Market team is seeking an Account Director to drive enterprise customer success and revenue growth in the Digital Natives segment. This role combines technical acumen, strategic account management, and vision to help customers understand and deploy OpenAI's advanced AI models across their businesses. You will manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, owning the entire lifecycle from initial engagement through deployment and renewal. You'll develop comprehensive account plans, execute complex deal strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives. Working closely with solutions engineers, researchers, and product teams, you'll help customers evolve their industries with AI while managing revenue targets and forecasts. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing account strategies; supporting customers from engagement through successful deployment; partnering with solutions and engineering teams on complex programs; owning revenue targets and forecasts; analyzing account metrics and providing stakeholder insights; monitoring competitive and industry landscape to inform product roadmap; collaborating across functions (solutions, marketing, communications, operations, finance, product, engineering); supporting team recruitment and onboarding; and contributing to company culture. You bring 7+ years of enterprise SaaS/PaaS sales experience, with proven success designing and executing complex deal strategies for fast-growing companies. You're skilled at communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences, gathering and synthesizing market intelligence, and working directly with C-suite executives. You're customer-centric, deeply curious about AI, a builder who loves creating systems and processes, energized by novel challenges, and a strategic thinker who plans forward and brings stakeholders along. The role is based in Sydney with a hybrid model (3 days in office per week). Relocation assistance is available.
