OpenAI's Enterprise Go-To-Market organization is seeking an Account Associate to join the Business Development team in Dublin. This role is positioned as a launchpad for future enterprise sellers, offering significant exposure to sales, product, and customer strategy within a high-growth AI company.
You will identify, shape, and advance complex enterprise opportunities by converting product usage, pilots, and inbound demand into qualified opportunities for the Large Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams. Working in a hybrid model (3 days/week in office), you'll partner closely with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression.
Key responsibilities include: designing and executing targeted outbound strategies using industry context and stakeholder mapping; leading high-quality discovery to uncover business priorities and assess enterprise readiness; contributing to pipeline reviews with outbound activity and competitive signals; and building AI-enabled GTM workflows (GPTs/agents) to scale prospecting and qualification.
The ideal candidate has 4-6+ years of professional experience, with 2-3 years in a full 360 closing role. You should have a track record of hitting ambitious targets in enterprise or strategic sales, preferably with experience in regulated or complex industries (Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail). Strong executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to build credibility with C-Suite stakeholders are essential. A genuine interest in AI and the ability to connect OpenAI products to real customer value is critical. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, move quickly, and operate with high ownership.
