Salary: EUR 34,000 - 36,000 / annual
Roadsurfer is Europe's largest campervan rental company, offering vehicle rentals, subscriptions, sales, and a platform for discovering and booking unique camping spots. This Fleet Manager role is based in Aachen and focuses on coordinating all operations around the campervan fleet at the local station.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all workflows related to campervan preparation, customer handover, and vehicle returns
- Actively participate in vehicle preparation and maintenance tasks alongside the team
- Lead, mentor, and motivate team members through coaching and hands-on support
- Conduct training sessions and drive continuous team development
- Inspect returned vehicles thoroughly, document any issues, report findings to headquarters in Munich, and manage follow-up repairs—handling minor maintenance directly and coordinating external partners for major repairs
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards at all times
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach even during high-pressure situations

Requirements:
- Completed vocational training, ideally in vehicle rental, tourism, hospitality, or related field
- Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills (friendly, open, communicative)
- Willingness to get hands-on and maintain composure under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills, solution-oriented mindset, and positive attitude
- Fluent German (very good level) and good English proficiency
- Valid Class B driver's license
