Innovaccer is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional execution for its prior authorization platform, with focus on the connectivity ecosystem spanning EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner), payer connectivity, and document/data exchange. This is a product leadership role with P&L-adjacent accountability for a core product pillar, direct influence over customer success outcomes, and mandate to set direction for engineering, interface, and support teams.
You will define standards for how the product connects into customer clinical and payer workflows, translate vision into a prioritized roadmap, and direct cross-functional teams from discovery through go-to-market and ongoing customer success. You'll be the executive-facing owner of this domain, accountable to customers, partners, and internal leadership for both strategy and standards.
Key responsibilities include: owning the connectivity roadmap (EHR integrations, payer connectivity, document exchange); setting priorities for engineering, interface, and support teams with accountability for roadmap commitments; conducting market and competitive research to identify growth opportunities; serving as executive product owner for customer-facing connectivity outcomes; meeting directly with customers and implementation leadership to surface issues and shape solutions; setting technical and product standards for data interfaces (X12 278, FHIR API, CDS Hooks, Da Vinci IGs) across EHRs and EDM systems; defining strategy for payer connectivity and prior authorization submission pathways; directing standardization of customer integrations toward configurable platform features; owning the product's standing in the Epic App Market; directing the interface/integrations engineering team's priorities and backlog; partnering with Support and platform engineering on monitoring and operational readiness; coordinating go-to-market plans with Product Marketing and Sales; owning product documentation and implementation guides; using data to evaluate payer submission performance and run experiments; and tracking industry trends in interoperability standards and prior authorization technology.
Required qualifications: experience implementing and supporting prior authorization automation solutions for provider health systems; background in prior authorization, revenue cycle, or payer connectivity; 3+ years in software product management with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end roadmap and direct accountability for cross-team execution; hands-on experience with Epic prior authorization integrations (X12 278) and working command of FHIR, CDS Hooks, and Da Vinci implementation guides; track record of directing or closely partnering with engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver product outcomes; comfort operating as executive-facing owner of a technical domain with fluency presenting to customers, leadership, and partners.
