Innovaccer is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and evolution of Gravity's AI platform, which powers intelligent automation and decision-making across healthcare workflows. This role combines strong technical product leadership, healthcare domain expertise, and hands-on experience with modern AI systems to build scalable, secure, production-grade AI capabilities.
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI-driven platform capabilities spanning Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language Models (SLMs), ML systems, intelligent workflows, and evaluation frameworks. You'll work closely with engineering, data science, clinical, and customer-facing teams to enable faster clinical decisions, reduce administrative burden, and drive trustworthy AI adoption across healthcare use cases.
Key responsibilities include defining and owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Gravity's AI platform. You'll identify opportunities to apply AI across healthcare workflows by assessing customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements. You'll translate complex requirements into clear, prioritized product roadmaps and execution plans, leading end-to-end feature delivery including PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, release planning, and iteration. You'll own backlog grooming and sprint prioritization in partnership with Engineering and Design, while driving high-quality UX for AI-assisted workflows that balance automation with clarity and control.
You'll lead product development for AI-driven capabilities including LLM- and SLM-powered reasoning and extraction, intelligent task automation and decision support, and workflow-driven AI execution with human-in-the-loop controls. You'll partner with engineering and data science teams to productize Large Language Models for broad reasoning tasks, Small Language Models for fast and cost-efficient structured tasks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for clinical knowledge retrieval, and ML models for classification, prediction, and risk scoring.
Trustworthy AI is central to this role. You'll define and maintain an AI evaluation framework covering accuracy, safety, fairness, and reliability. You'll establish governance policies for AI model deployment, monitoring, and version management, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA SaMD guidelines) and privacy standards. You'll reduce hallucinations and improve model grounding through systematic prompt and pipeline engineering.
You'll act as the primary liaison between clinical, engineering, data science, and commercial teams, translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable narratives for executive and non-technical audiences. You'll define success metrics (KPIs/OKRs) for all AI platform features and track outcomes post-launch, gathering insights through user research, clinical feedback, and customer conversations.
Required qualifications include 5-8+ years of product management experience with 2+ years focused on AI/ML products. You must have a proven track record of shipping AI-powered products in complex enterprise environments and deep understanding of LLMs, SLMs, RAG, embeddings, ML pipelines, and evaluation methodologies. Strong ability to write detailed PRDs, technical specs, and product narratives is essential, along with comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership and excellent communication and storytelling skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with agentic AI systems, multi-step AI pipelines, or autonomous workflow orchestration; familiarity with MLOps tooling, vector databases, or AI observability platforms; prior experience in clinical decision support, EHR integration, or digital health products; and an engineering or data science background that enables hands-on collaboration with technical teams. Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, SNOMED) is preferred.
