Chime is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead Top of Funnel Lending, a platform role spanning the full lending portfolio including loans, credit cards, lines of credit, and future credit products. You will own the complete product strategy and execution for how members discover, register for, and get approved for credit at Chime, setting acquisition and conversion strategy across all lending products and building the foundational platform that every current and future lending product scales on. Key responsibilities include owning the strategy and roadmap for lending top of funnel end-to-end; leading company-program-sized cross-functional efforts starting with new registration flows; growing the funnel from zero to one; partnering deeply with Product Marketing on channel optimization and customer acquisition cost (CAC) efficiency; and building conversion-driving member experiences. You will drive product decisions across the full lifecycle, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Finance. The role requires making high-conviction prioritization decisions, aligning cross-functional teams around clear product vision and measurable outcomes, and using customer insights, experimentation, and data to continuously improve the member experience while growing a profitable business. Required qualifications include 11+ years leading consumer product strategy and execution for high-impact digital products from concept through scale; direct experience growing top of funnel for lending products at a major consumer business with measurable results on application volume, conversion, and CAC; proven track record owning complex product areas with measurable business outcomes in growth, monetization, or financial products; experience with credit bureaus, affiliates, and acquisition marketplaces; experience building or managing complex consumer financial platforms or high-scale fintech products; and strong ability to work in highly cross-functional environments. You should have strong product intuition backed by data, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to simplify complex customer problems into exceptional user experiences.
