As Workplace Technology Specialist in London, you'll be the hands-on first point of contact for employee technology support, reporting to the Workplace Technology Lead. This is an individual contributor role focused on keeping Legora's internal technology running smoothly—from laptops and onboarding to meeting rooms and office connectivity. Key responsibilities include: - Troubleshooting laptop, application, account, peripheral, and connectivity issues via service desk and in-person support - Onboarding new hires: staging devices, setting up accounts and access, checking equipment - Maintaining meeting rooms: AV checks, conferencing equipment troubleshooting, supporting all-hands and events - Managing local hardware lifecycle: provisioning, inventory, repairs, replacements, asset tracking - Supporting basic office Wi-Fi and wired connectivity troubleshooting - Assisting with office moves, desk setups, equipment installations, and vendor coordination - Maintaining badge readers, cameras, and office security technology - Writing support guides and helping test automation and AI-assisted workflows The role is fully onsite in London, five days per week, in a fast-paced startup environment where you'll work closely with Workplace, Office Managers, EAs, and the wider IT team. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of hands-on IT support, workplace technology, desktop support, or equivalent practical experience - Ability to troubleshoot macOS devices, common business applications, peripherals, and basic network issues - Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues; patient and approachable demeanor - Comfort working in fast-paced startup environment; ability to prioritize and follow through - Familiarity with security and access procedures; ability to handle employee information carefully - Curiosity, willingness to learn, and proactive problem-solving mindset - Preference for being present in office environment NICE TO HAVE: - Experience with meeting-room AV and conferencing tools (Zoom Rooms, Neat) - Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and endpoint management platforms - Knowledge of identity, access, and collaboration tools (1Password) - Experience with office networking or physical-security hardware (Meraki, badge readers, Verkada) - ITSM platform experience (Serval, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Freshservice) - Interest in scripting or workflow automation
