Ripple is seeking a Workplace Operations Specialist to establish and manage their new Chicago office from the ground up. This is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day workplace operations, employee experience, and vendor management as the office scales.
Key responsibilities include:
Office Management: Oversee food programs, deliveries, mailroom operations, decor, and supply ordering. Develop and execute office procedures and workplace programming for a brand new space. Maintain a welcoming, safe, and professional environment while serving as the primary point of contact for employees and guests on workplace matters.
Employee Experience & Events: Promote a culture of inclusion, hospitality, and collaboration. Plan and execute employee engagement moments. Partner with the People team on onboarding logistics to ensure new hires have a positive first-day experience, including desk setup, office tours, and resource introductions. Coordinate logistics for onsite meetings and events.
Facilities & Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors including building management, food & beverage partners, janitorial services, and maintenance contractors. Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs (preventative and urgent), work with building management on work orders, update floor plans, and coordinate space assignments for new hires.
Collaboration & Support: Work cross-functionally with Global Workplace, Security, IT/AV, and Communications teams. Act as an escalation point for workplace feedback and issues.
Required qualifications: Associate's degree or higher; 2–4 years of facilities or workplace operations experience. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency with Google Workspace. Ability to lift 30–40 lbs and work flexibly when needed. Comfortable interacting with C-suite executives and external vendors.
