WelbeHealth is seeking a Workday HCM Program Manager (internally titled Principal Analyst, Workday HCM) to serve as the core technical support resource for the organization's enterprise Workday implementation, with Phase 1 targeted for 2027. Reporting to the Director of People Technology Transformation, this role combines hands-on configuration expertise with thought partnership on process design and system decision-making.
In this position, you will be the primary hands-on Workday HCM configuration resource across multiple modules including payroll, absence, time keeping, recruiting, HCM, performance and talent optimization, Peakon, benefits, Cloud Connect, and LMS. You will partner with the Director, People Project Manager, and key stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into effective system configurations, and recommend configuration decisions aligned to future-state processes.
Key responsibilities include: configuring Workday HCM modules to support business requirements, compliance needs, reporting, and team member experience; supporting solution design sessions by identifying configuration options, implications, dependencies, and tradeoffs; partnering in testing activities across unit, integration, and user acceptance testing phases; documenting configuration decisions and business process design for knowledge transfer and auditability; troubleshooting issues and supporting resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle; and mentoring incoming Workday analysts to build internal capability and long-term support capacity.
Required qualifications include hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience with depth across multiple modules, demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions, experience supporting Workday implementations through design, configuration, testing, and launch, strong technical aptitude with attention to detail, ability to serve as trainer and mentor, and collaborative working style. A Bachelor's degree in human resources, information systems, business, or related field is preferred; equivalent Workday configuration experience may be substituted.
