As a Web Engineer, you'll join an engineering team building the software ecosystem to disrupt the mortgage industry. The role involves designing and building robust, extensible infrastructure to handle complex federal, state, and agency regulations. You'll work on a modern mortgage servicing platform handling billions of dollars at scale, with significant autonomy to learn, execute, and deliver business impact.
Key responsibilities include learning new concepts and technologies quickly and applying them to challenging problems; designing scalable infrastructure for evolving regulatory requirements; diving deep into the mortgage industry's complexity; and collaborating with Product and Design teams to define customer experiences.
You'll bring 4+ years of software engineering experience building quality applications at scale. Strong cross-functional communication skills are essential to balance product and technical requirements. Experience with web application development, mobile development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management is valued. You should excel at building scalable systems quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
The team includes exceptional engineers from Stripe, Jane Street, Meta, and Google who care deeply about their work and each other. Compensation ranges from $150,000–$265,000 base salary with meaningful equity, comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, flexible PTO, 12 weeks paid parental leave, and quarterly team/company outings.
