Robinhood is seeking a Web Engineer to join their team building the future of finance. The role focuses on developing high-performance, web-first trading products that democratize financial access.
You will own features from inception through design to implementation and launch, serving as the web expert on your multidisciplinary product team. Key responsibilities include creating high-quality, performant products using React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS; collaborating with design and product teams to rapidly iterate and ship financial products; building frameworks and abstractions to accelerate other developers; and improving tools that support Robinhood's operations and platforms.
The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of professional experience with modern web standards and frameworks, strong JavaScript skills in both Node and browser environments, and a track record of leading large-scope technical projects at scale. You should be obsessed with developer experience, advocate for best practices in testing and code quality, and set high standards for code review processes.
This is a hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA (with offices also in New York, NY and Toronto, ON), requiring in-person attendance at least 3 days per week. Robinhood emphasizes in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community.
