Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, serving major brands including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank. The company is based in San Francisco with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
In this role, you will own the frontend across both product and marketing surfaces, ensuring a cohesive, polished user experience. You'll work on both the core product interface and customer-facing web pages, maintaining consistency in branding and UX.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining the CMS infrastructure (using Sanity) to provide content and marketing teams with self-serve tooling, structured content models, and preview/staging workflows, reducing engineering dependencies for routine changes.
- Designing content schemas and editing experiences that enable non-engineers to move quickly and confidently.
- Partnering with marketing, sales, and operations to implement analytics and enable experimentation, turning business goals into shipped, instrumented features.
- Supporting localization and internationalization efforts, including multilingual content, translation workflows, and underlying infrastructure to ensure non-English experiences are first-class.
- Owning Core Web Vitals, media and asset optimization, and diagnosing subtle performance issues such as layout shift, lazy-loading, video quality, and render timing.
- Championing accessibility standards including semantic markup, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, and WCAG-compliant component design.
You will work closely with designers, content writers, and marketers, translating their goals into technical work and communicating technical tradeoffs in business terms.
Requirements:
- Marketing and growth fluency: demonstrated experience working on marketing or growth-facing web projects, with understanding of funnels, conversion, SEO, analytics, and A/B testing.
- Strong frontend fundamentals: fluency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, React or similar framework, with attention to UI/UX craft and detail.
- Genuine commitment to performance and accessibility: concrete examples of improvements made to both in production.
- Comfort with structured content: prior experience with headless CMS and structured content models; Sanity experience is a plus.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with non-engineers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Localization and i18n experience.
- Analytics and experimentation platform familiarity.
- Third-party integration experience (video hosting, error monitoring, etc.).
