Mythic is seeking a VP of Systems Engineering to lead the critical function of transforming analog compute chips into production-ready AI computing platforms. This role owns the complete path from silicon design through customer deployment, building and managing a team responsible for hardware/software co-validation, platform bring-up, system-level performance optimization, and reliability assurance.
You will oversee the development of AI accelerator cards, modules, and reference platforms that OEMs and hyperscale cloud providers can confidently integrate into their infrastructure. The VP will serve as the technical bridge connecting chip design teams, firmware/software engineers, and customers deploying Mythic's energy-efficient AI solutions in production environments ranging from edge devices to datacenter deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and leading a systems engineering organization focused on hardware/software integration
- Establishing validation methodologies and test frameworks for AI compute platforms
- Managing platform bring-up cycles and ensuring systems meet performance and reliability targets
- Collaborating with chip design and software teams to resolve cross-functional technical challenges
- Engaging directly with OEM and hyperscale partners to understand integration requirements and support successful deployments
- Driving system-level optimization for power efficiency, thermal management, and performance
